Elk Grove Village police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 2:44 p.m. Thursday to a report of a brush fire at 2534 South Lively Boulevard. Emergency responders received a report that lightning struck the west side of the building or near the west side of the building of Rexam Beverage, and ignited dry brush near the building.
