Inverness police and Palatine Rural FPD firefighter/paramedics responded about 9:07 AM Thursday August 2, 2018 to a report of a lightning strike at a house at 115 Haman Road Inverness, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a house may have been struck by lightning, and that there seemed to be a problem with gas and possibly electric utilities.
The first firefighter crew on arrival reported nothing showing. There was possibly a gas pressure drop after a lightning strike. Gas and electric utilities were called to the scene as firefighters were investigating.
