Police, firefighters and paramedics from Arlington Heights responded about 5:43 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2021 to a report of a rollover crash with injuries in the block of 1400 North Yale Avenue in Arlington Heights. First responders received a report that a vehicle rolled over and landed upright on Yale Avenue.

Paramedics assessed the female driver of the SUV, who refused transportation to the hospital by paramedics. The SUV crashed with a United States Post Office delivery van. After rolling over after impact, the SUV was upright with a smashed windshield, and the delivery van had minor damage mostly to the left front fender.

Both vehicles were towed away from the scene. The postal service van was towed by a tow contractor working for the US Postal Service. The SUV, possibly a Toyota Highlander, was towed away by Hillside Towing.
