A shooting suspect was shot and killed Monday night December 27, 2021 in the Belmar Shopping area in Lakewood, Colorado after he shot and killed two women at First and Broadway in Denver at about 5:00 p.m., then shot and killed a man at 12th and Williams in Denver, fired shots at 6th Avenue and Cherokee, exchanged gunfire with police near the I-25 ramp near 9th and Zuni, shot and killed a man at a business near Kipling and Colfax in Lakewood, and shot a hotel clerk and a police officer near the Hyatt House near the Belmar shopping district in downtown Lakewood during a police pursuit.
Some windows were shot out at THE ROCK wood-fired pizza restaurant near the suspect’s demise, and fortunately no patrons were wound at the restaurant. Including the shooter, there were seven people wound or killed.
