Police, firefighters and paramedics from Arlington Heights responded about 7:08 p.m. Sunday, December 26, 2021 to a report of a crash with injuries in front of Culver’s restaurant at 2060 East Northwest Highway in Arlington Heights.
Upon arrival firefighters and paramedics discovered a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Northwest Highway and Waterman. A Chevrolet Avalanche when through some shrubs and hit the Culver’s main sign after the impact of the two vehicles.
Paramedics assessed at least one crash victim, but it was initially unknown whether anyone was transported to the hospital by paramedics.
The Culver’s sign was damaged significantly, and was leaning slightly.
The Speed Limit on Northwest Highway is 40 MPH. Arlington Heightsr police investigated the crash and managed traffic control.
