Waukegan police responded about 9:03 PM Wednesday September 20, 2017 to an armed robbery at the Dollar General store, 1501 Belvidere Street Waukegan, IL. Police received a report that a male/white offender committed the robbery at the Dollar General store
The suspect was described as a male/white offender wearing a black bandana over the lower part of his face. The suspect was also wearing a black hoodie, orange gloves, and black pants.
A black handgun was displayed.
The suspect fled southbound on Benny Avenue from the scene.
The crime is reported to have occurred at 9:03 p.m.
