
The identity was released Wednesday morning, July 8, 2026, of the male motorcyclist killed in Mundelein in a motorcycle crash with a Honda Pilot SUV as 34-year-old Jeff Williams, of Evanston. Jeff Williams was a cherished member of the Jesse White Tumbling Team and a dedicated employee in the Illinois Secretary of State’s office. His photo is recognizable for many in Arlington Heights who have seen the Jesse White Tumblers in parades in Arlington Heights.

On Tuesday, July 7, 2026, an autopsy was conducted at the Lake County Coroner’s Office after Jeff Williams was pronounced dead at the scene of the motorcycle crash. Preliminary results indicate that Jeff Williams died from Blunt Force Injuries as a result of the crash.
A recorded audition of the Jesse White Tumblers Team was broadcast on America’s Got Talent (AGT) on Tuesday night, July 7, 2026 which resulted in the team receiving a standing ovation and four “yes” votes from the panel of celebrity judges — Sofía Vergara, Mel B, Howie Mandel, and Simon Cowell.

INITIAL CRASH REPORT …
Police, firefighters and paramedics from Mundelein responded about 5:25 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2026 to a report of a crash with injuries involving a motorcycle and a car at Route 45 and Route 83 in Mundelein.
The motorcyclist, a male age 34, was in cardiac arrest when police, firefighters an paramedics arrived. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A Suzuki motorcycle was down in the street next to the rider. Also, an SUV with damage to the front driver’s side door and the rear driver’s side door was at the scene.
The crash is under investigation by the Mundelein Police Department and Lake County MCAT. Each roadway in the oblique intersection is five lanes across, counting the left turn lane.
