A male employee of Dana Point Condominiums from Palatine, and a male employee of Dana Point from Naperville were found dead in a utility room Friday evening, November 21, 2025. Both men were 53 years-old, according to the Cook County Medical Examiners Office.

The Arlington Heights Police Department began a death investigation just after 4:30 p.m. Friday, November 21, 2025 after two male victims were found deceased in a utility room of a condo building at Dana Point Condominiums on the property just south of the intersection of Central Road and Arthur Avenue in Arlington Heights. The Arlington Heights Police Department is leading the death investigation.

Neighbors knew something was seriously wrong when they saw about ten police vehicles lined up in front of the condominium building. The front lobby was sealed off with crime scene tape, and entrance and exit via the front door at the center of the building was not permitted.

Police officers worked quietly outside in the long shadows of the autumn November night, but most of the work was indoors. Police communicated with workers and/or condo board members in a fitness center clubhouse, just south of the condominium building.

According to the Arlington Heights Police Department, a 911 call was received at 4:30 p.m. Friday, November 21, 2025, reporting two individuals were unconscious in a utility room of a multi-family residential dwelling.




Police, firefighters and paramedics from Arlington Heights were dispatched to the scene about 4:30 p.m. According to the Arlington Heights Police Department, upon arrival it was clearly evident that two people experienced traumatic injuries and were beyond rescue with medical care. Arlington Heights Fire Department paramedics confirmed that the two adult males were deceased via communication with the Emergency Department at Endeavor Health Northwest Community Hospital.

Evidence is being gathered, and the investigation is in a preliminary stage, according to the Arlington Heights Police Department. Detectives interviewed persons who may be able to assist with the fact-finding mission are being.

Information was received by police that confirms the two deceased men had an employment relationship as a supervisor and employee at Dana Point Condominiums.

The Arlington Heights Police Department is collaborating with the Major Case Assistance Team (MCAT) as the investigation proceeds. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office is working to
determine an official manner and cause of death of each individual.
