Vandalism and Anti-Gay Slurs Reported After Rick Santorum Speech at Hersey High School

Arlington Heights police and Prospect police received a report during the day Saturday, March 17, 2012 of criminal damage to property/vandalism at Dale Avenue and Olive Street, and also along Lancaster Avenue. Police received a report that graffiti was discovered on a stop sign.

Several signs and reflective stop bars on the asphalt were marked with offensive words and anti-gay slurs.

The vandalism was reported a day after presidential candidate Rick Santorum spoke at John Hersey High School and Christian Liberty Academy on Friday, March 16, 2012.
