A Sikorsky S-58JT helicopter and crew from Midwest Truxton International, Inc. lifted a rooftop air conditioning unit from a truck about 6:33 a.m. Tuesday, September 9, 2025 near the intersection of Evergreen Avenue and Campbell Street in Arlington Heights, and lifted the air conditioner to the roof of a 2-story commercial building. The air conditioner, weighing about 2,000 LBS, was lifted from a truck trailer parked in front of Starbucks, and placed on the roof of the north building of the Arlington Town Square shopping center. Evergreen Avenue was closed between Campbell Street and Sigwalt Street for less than 30 minutes during the helicopter lift.
Midwest Truxton International, Inc., based in Willowbrook, Illinois, has provided aerial crane service for over 50 years.
