Police from Schaumburg responded about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2023 to a report of retail theft over $150 at JD Sports, 5 Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg. The offender or offenders took clothing. No injuries were reported, and initially no arrests were announced.
Two offenders fled in a 2011 blue Dodge Durango with Wisconsin license plates. The Dodge Durango was last seen eastbound on Golf Road from West Drive (north side of the Woodfield property).
Suspect #1 was described as the driver — a male/black wearing a green shirt.
Suspect #2 was described as a passenger — a female/black wearing a brown Gucci hat and a brown shirt.
JD Sports is a British sports-fashion retail company based in Bury, Greater Manchester, England that has acquired several businesses such as Champion Sports, Cloggs, Finish Line, DTLR and others.
JD Sports opened in Woodfield Mall in 2018 or 2019.
