Police, firefighters and paramedics from Palatine responded about 5:04 p.m. Monday, February 6, 2023 to a report of a rollover crash with injuries on Northwest Highway just east of Dundee Road in Palatine. A motorist rear-ended a Chevy Tahoe police SUV, and the motorist’s vehicle rolled over in the westbound lanes of Northwest Highway.
The driver was removed from the vehicle by 5:12 p.m. and transported to Northwest Community Hospital. Initially it was unknown whether the police officer suffered any injuries.
