Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies responded about 3:35 a.m., November 29, 2022 to a report that shots were fired at a townhouse in the block of 12800 West Wakefield Drive, Beach Park.
Lake County Sheriff’s deputies arrived and located a home that was damaged by several bullets. There were occupants inside the home at the time of the shooting; however, nobody was struck by the gunfire. Sheriff’s evidence technicians responded and collected evidence recovered at the scene.
Based on the information obtained thus far, this shooting appears to be targeted and not random. Sheriff’s detectives are actively investigating.
