The 9-1-1 callers described seeing a large building, a building possibly sinking into a sinkhole, a flooded basement, walking on the roof, or being trapped in their condominium unit at 8777 Collins Avenue in Surfside.
People reported being trapped in the underground parking garage with water rushing in the lower level and flooding. A 9-1-1 caller also reported hearing people yelling in the rubble.
