Serious Vehicle Crash at Route 60 and Cedar Lake Rd in Round Lake with Extra Alarm for Ambulances


Police and firefighter/paramedics from Round Lake responded about 5:35 p.m. Thursday June 4, 2020 to a report of a serious crash with multiple injuries. Possibly four vehicles involved in the crash.

A MABAS Division 4 Box Alarm Box #26-99 to the second level was activated at about 5:41 p.m.

Lake Villa, Lake Bluff, Newport, Lincolnshire-Riverwoods firefighters responded with fire apparatus.

Grayslake, Fox Lake, Wauconda, Antioch, Libertyville, and Spring Grove firefighter/paramedics responded with ambulances.

The EMS Box Alarm was struck out at 5:55 p.m. and responding equipment was returned.

The crash was also reported on Waze. Westbound Route 60 was backed up to Chardon Road at 5:53 p.m.
