A Lake County Sheriff’s police and Barrington police were in pursuit of a Chevy Equinox southbound on Route 14 near Quentin Road at about 12:29 AM. Police spotted a stolen Chevy Equinox wanted also for an investigation in connection with a burglary at GoWireless, 812 North Milwaukee in Buffalo Grove. The vehicle was initially described as a dark gray vehicle but was later described as a green Chevy Equinox.
The pursuit near Route 14 and Dundee Road and headed eastbound on Route 14 to Hicks Road to Euclid Avenue, where the offenders entered southbound Route 53.
Routing of the pursuit continued southbound Route 53 to I-290 to southbound I-294. Police may have lost sight of the vehicle or terminated the pursuit on southbound I-294 south of I-88.
