Schaumburg police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 9:41 AM Tuesday May 1, 2018 to a report of a rollover crash at Barrington Road and Weathersfield Way Schaumburg, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a rollover crash occurred with one patient still in the rolled over vehicle.
Police first on arrival report one patient entrapped, awake and breathing by 9:45 a.m.
Battalion Chief 5 reported a Chevy Blazer on its roof with one person still inside. Two children were also involved in the crash.
The first crew on arrival reported a 4-vehicle accident with one vehicle on its roof. Spreaders and cutters for use on a passenger door, and a second ambulance requested by 9:48 a.m.
A third ambulance was dispatched, but was returned before arrival would have occurred. A female patient in the overturned Chevy Blazer was extricated by 9:56 a.m. Four patients were transported using two ambulances.
