Detectives from the Silver Spring Investigative Section are investigating a mass theft incident that occurred at a 7-Eleven store in Silver Spring.
Silver Spring (Maryland) Police responded about 11:20 p.m. Saturday to a report of a mob retail theft at the 7-ELEVEN store in the 12200 block of Tech Road.
The mob dispersed when police arrived, but about six people age 16-18 were stopped near Tech Road and Broadbirch Drive with 7-ELEVEN proceeds and no receipts.
