Burglary to Company Truck at Construction Project, Elm & Chestnut

Arlington Heights police received a report about 12:25 p.m. Tuesday of a burglary to vehicle near the intersection of Chestnut Avenue and Elm Street. Police received a report that an HP laptop computer was stolen from a company truck — an unlocked orange 2005 Chevy Silverado pickup truck parked at a construction project near the intersection.

The crime is report to have occurred between 10 a.m. and noon on Tuesday. The laptop was valued at $500.

Arlington Heights police are investigating.
