Fight in Progress at Motel 6 on Algonquin Road


Arlington Heights police responded about 4:25 p.m. Tuesday to the Motel 6 at 441 West Algonquin Road. Police received a report that one male with a hammer fled in a blue car toward Arlington Heights Road. Police apprehended that subject at Arlington Heights Road and Algonquin Road on a traffic stop. Cook County Sheriff happened to be in the area and helped the Arlington Heights officer on the traffic stop.

Another police officer responding to the Motel 6 reported no apparent injuries to the victim.

No word on any arrests. Police are investigating involved subjects.

  1. That location should have a big sign outside, warning guests what they’ll be in for during their stay. Poor management is mostly to blame.
