Plane Slides of Chicago Executive Airport Runway After Landing

A plane slid off a runway at Chicago Executive Airport in Wheeling/Prospect Heights after landing Monday night about 8:30 p.m.

The Beech aircraft had only the pilot on board when it slid off the runway. No injuries were reported.

Prospect Heights Fire Department was busy with two injury accidents near the airport at Palatine Road east of Wolf Road, near Schoenbeck and Palatine Road.

Arlington Heights firefighter/paramedics also assisted Prospect Heights Fire Department with a crash at Willow and Elmhurst.
