Szymon Zawadzki, 20, of the 5100 block of West Addison Street in Chicago, has been charged with reckless homicide, aggravated DUI resulting in death, aggravated DUI resulting in great bodily harm, improper lane use, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving without insurance after a crash that killed two, and injured three (including himself).
Zawadzki was driving a black Nissan Maxima about 2:30 a.m. Monday southbound on Sheridan Road in Wilmette when the car left the roadway, struck a fire hydrant and broadsided a tree in the 700 block of Sheridan.
Boy! What a nice record he accomplished in such a young age!
