The alleged accomplice then told police how they allegedly buried the body in a metal drum in Metamora, Illinois, a suburb of Peoria, Illinois located in Woodford County, Illinois about 140 miles southwest of Chicago. Police dug at a muddy location with thick brush and woods on June 5 2010. Peterson’s last known jail location is the Will County Adult Detention Facility in Joliet.
