Arlington Heights police received a report about 8:00 a.m. of a burglary to a vehicle in the 400 block of Richmond Street. The north side of Arlington Heights has been especially hard hit by burglaries the last year.
Last week two teens were arrested for burglaries just north of the Richmond Street address. Alert Arlington Heights Police officers identified burglary suspects mid-week, and then arrested and charged Mario Navidad of the 1400 block of Ports O’ Call, Palatine, Jonathan Cabrero, of the 1300 block of Ports O’ Call with multiple counts of burglary for multiple break-ins at the La Quinta Inn, at 1415 E. Dundee Road, Palatine, and the parking lot of Arlington Lanes at 3435 N. Kennicott Avenue, Arlington Heights.
