Actor Rob Lowe is promoting awareness of a national problem involving children: poor oral health resulting in missed school days. He visits Lunch Break with Tanya Rivero to discuss his partnership with Crest and Feeding America to donate hundreds of thousands of tubes of toothpaste to needy children. He also discusses his new role in the returning CBS drama “Code Black.”

Code Black is an American medical drama television series about an overcrowded and understaffed emergency room in Los Angeles, California. The series was created by Michael Seitzman which premiered on CBS on September 30, 2015, and is based on a documentary by emergency medical doctor Ryan McGarry. The documentary of the same name, Code Black, presents the details of the overwhelmed emergency department.

On May 16, 2016, the television series was renewed for a second season which is set to premiere on September 28, 2016.
