Police Officer Shot During Domestic Disturbance with Barricaded Suspect Incident in Fargo, North Dakota

#ad▼

Fargo police responded to a domestic dispute with a barricaded subject late Wednesday night, and one police officer has been shot. The suspect may have been the person that called 9-1-1 before he began shooting.

The suspect in the domestic dispute is barricaded inside a home in north Fargo and has been firing shots, possibly with long guns, amid a standoff with officers.

The response at the scene was upgraded as multiple law enforcement agencies, including a SWAT team were requested to the scene.

A perimeter and negotiator communications was established.

Nearby businesses were in lockdown, but the lockdown was lifted when the area outside the perimeter was secured.

The Fargo Civic Center, which was hosting a Disturbed concert, was among the businesses under lockdown.

Neighbors in nearby residences were asked to stay inside — preferably in their basements.
