Twelve people have been killed in a shooting at the headquarters of the French satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo, French police say. Report by Sarah Kerr.

At least 12 people, including two police officers, were killed and several more critically injured when armed gunmen opened fire at the headquarters of satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo in central Paris Wednesday. Police were seen securing the area outside the newspaper’s HQ, with medical emergency teams arriving at the site.
