Apple Fail on Live Keynote: Annoying Asian Language Translation as Loud as the Narrator

#ad▼

Apple probably should have used a competitor’s service to provide it’s live streaming event for it “epic” keynote event. That competitor would be YouTube, which handled Chicago’s Lollapalooza in 2013 with more viewers than the Apple streamed event.

Apple’s streaming event continues to freeze with an option to resume to LIVE. When you resume to live, which happened multiple time, it goes back to the same older segment in the presentation — in our case the description of the two-up display in horizontal mode on the larger 5.5-inch iPhone 6.

There is also an annoying female voice translating Chinese or Japanese that is almost as loud as the official narrator’s voice.

“One more thing” is apparently a watch — not iWatch, but Apple Watch …

Apple introduced a new watch known as Apple Watch reported to have a sapphire display in a stainless steel housing. The keynote address saved the “One more Thing” event for last with the Apple Watch.

Apple Watch is described as a comprehensive health and fitness companion.

Infrared LEDs and photodiodes act as a digital crown that translates rotary movement into digital data. Apparently the watch does not use a touch screen, but does sense touch and force to determine difference between a tap and a press.

The Apple Watch has hundreds of apps which could give new meaning to distracted driving.
