Anjem Choudary is a British Muslim social and political activist who has praised those responsible for the September 2001 attacks in the United States and the London bombings in July 2005.
Anjem Choudary was previously a solicitor (lawyer) and served as the chairman of the Society of Muslim Lawyers. He served as spokesman for the now banned Islam4UK radical Islamist terrorist group that operated in the United Kingdom. The group was striving for Islamic ideology in the United Kingdom and the implementation of Sharia in the United Kingdom.
