“The Gardener and the Honey Bee” Presented By Larry Krengel of Hawk Hill Bee Farm in Marengo For Arlington Heights Garden Club

Bees are excellent pollinators in your garden, but are you providing them with their flower preferences?

Are you inviting them into your garden and making it safe for bees to visit your flowers?

Larry Krengel is owner of Hawk Hill Bee Farm in Marengo, IL and editor of the Illinois State Beekeeping Association Bulletin. In addition, Krengel works with McHenry County College Educational programming and a team of students from Bradley University conducting research about beekeepers and their characteristics.

The Arlington Heights Garden Club will hold a program, “The Gardener and The Honey Bee” at the Hendrickson Room at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, 500 North Dunton Avenue, Arlington Heights. The program will be held on the second Monday this month, April 14, 2014 at 8:00 p.m..
