Electronic Recycling, Document Shredding Event, At Nokia Siemens Networks Campus, Saturday, April 26, 2014, 9 AM to Noon

The Village of Arlington Heights has announced that It’s time to get rid of old electronics, piles of documents you no longer need or old bicycles at the Arlington Heights Spring Sweep Recycling Day. The event takes place Saturday, April 26, from 9 a.m. – Noon at the Nokia Siemens Networks Campus, 1501 West Shure Drive. Nokia Siemens is located on the north side of the Village of Arlington Heights, just south of Dundee Road, between North Kennicott Avenue and North Wilke Road.

The event includes your opportunity to dispose of electronics (see list of acceptable items below), document destruction (up to three legal-sized boxes per vehicle) and the collection of old, usable bikes. Residents from the suburban area are welcome to participate.

The event is sponsored by the Village of Arlington Heights Special Events Commission, the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County (SWANCC), Village Bank & Trust, and our location hosts Toburn Partners.

The Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County (SWANCC) will oversee the electronic recycling. No electronic materials from schools, businesses or other institutions is permitted.
