Kanye West compares the dangers of performing on stage next to his fake mountain to the work involved being a police officer or a soldier.

Kanye West says it’s not JUST the physical risks (he says he could slip on the stage) but he says he also risks getting his feelings hurt — because people could watch a performance and decide they don’t like him.

In November, Tom Cruise made comments responding in court attempting to defend charges that he abandoned his daughter while working on a movie. The headlines that he said his work was like fighting in Afghanistan were constructed from testimony involved in the case. He was asked if he felt his “absence from Suri for these extended periods of time as being analogous to someone fighting in Afghanistan.” Opposing counsel asks him. “Are you aware of that?” Cruise replied, “Oh come on,” Cruise says, “you know, we’re making a movie.”
He was asked about the Afghanistan military-movie set analogy, Cruise replied it wasn’t comparable, and certain media sources spread the tale that he made the comment himself.
