Illinois State Police, and firefighters and paramedics from Elk Grove Village and Schaumburg responded about 10:16 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2026 to a report of a vehicle fire on the ramp from Route 53 northbound to Higgins Road near Elk Grove Village and Schaumburg.
Illinois State Police Troopers, firefighters and paramedics upon arrival discovered a vehicle fully-involved. There were no injuries reported.
The fire was under control or declared out by about 10:30 p.m.
