Two people were found dead at director Rob Reiner’s home in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles on Sunday, December 14, 2025. A 78-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman were the only descriptions initially released regarding the two victims. Rob Reiner is 78 years-old, and his wife Michele Singer is 68 years-old. The identities and circumstances are in the early stages of investigation
The home owned by Rob Reiner is located in the 200 block of Chadbourne Avenue, Brentwood.
Police, firefighters and paramedics responded to an EMS call about 3:30 PM, and discovered the bodies.
Initially the identities of the victim were not unconfirmed, but TMZ is reporting law enforcement sources have informed the tabloid that the bodies are Rob Reiner and Michele Singer, and that both suffered lacerations consistent with a knife.
The LAPD Robbery Homicide Division are investigating.
