
The Palatine Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating Benjamin Brown, who was last seen on Friday, October 17, 2025, around 3:00 p.m. in the block of 600 East Pennsylvania Drive in Palatine.
Benjamin Brown is described as a white male in his late 30s, 6 feet tall, slender build, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark navy blue jacket, dark navy blue pants with white stripes along the legs, and dark blue athletic shoes.
Brown left his home and has not returned, and his family is concerned for his safety and well-being. Information gathered indicates he may be in need of assistance, and it is believed he could have traveled toward wooded areas or forest preserves in the area of Lake Cook Road and Hicks Road in Palatine, IL.
Witnesses reported fire department activity near Lake Cook Road between Hicks Road and Rand Road, and the body of water near Lake Cook Road, just west of Hicks Road. Be on the look out for lanes closures or road closures in the area.
There was no known MABAS Box Alarm for divers activated Sunday morning.
Anyone with information about Benjamin Brown’s whereabouts are urged to call 911 or contact the Palatine Police Department at (847) 359-9000.
