Firefighters and paramedics from Rolling Meadows and Arlington Heights, and Illinois State Police troopers responded about 6:52 a.m. Saturday, August 16, 2025 to a report of a vehicle fire in the westbound lanes of I-90 near the bridge over Golf Road in Rolling Meadows.
Arlington Heights Engine 3’s crew reported a header while responding. One vehicle in the left shoulder was fully-involved with fire, according to Engine 3’s crew on arrival. Arlington Heights and Rolling Meadows firefighters extinguished the fire involving a black SUV or minivan. People were standing near the scene when firefighters arrived, but no injuries were reported.
