This incident has resulted in multiple injuries and, tragically, one fatality. We can now confirm that a 2-year-old male has died as a result of this crash. On behalf of the police and fire department we extend our deepest condolences to the family during this devastating time. We ask that their privacy be respected as they grieve this unimaginable loss.

In total:

• 8 individuals, including the driver of the vehicle, were transported to area hospitals.

• 6 others were treated at the scene and released.

Our investigation is in its early stages, but preliminary information suggests this was a tragic accident. However, we are thoroughly reviewing all available evidence, including witness statements and surveillance video, to determine exactly what occurred.

There was a large presence of first responders at the scene as we investigated the incident. Support services are being made available, and we are coordinating closely with victim assistance resources.

We will continue to share updates as more information becomes available. Thank you.”
