Residential Burglary/Theft Involving a Storage Locker on East Algonquin Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 9:20 AM Monday of a residential burglary in the block of 700 east golf Rd Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders burglarized a storage locker.

People who lived in a condo unit in the building moved out and decided not to move everything out a storage locker to the car. They forgot to put the lock back on the storage locker door, and returned one week later.

The victims discovered items missing, including Mikasa Champagne Flutes (valued at $120), 12 Mikasa white wine glasses (valued at $120), 12 Mikasa red wine glasses (valued at $120), a Mikasa bowl shaped decanter (valued at $60) and a three-foot folding step stool (valued at $50).

Books and sports equipment in the unlocked storage locker were not stolen.

The crime is reported to have occurred between Saturday June 1, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. and Saturday June 8, 2013 at 9:00 a.m.
