Kimberly Guilfoyle, who is a former Fox News co-host and girlfriend of Donald Trump Jr., tested positive for COVID-19 while in South Dakota. The president’s son Donald Trump Jr. tested negative.
Guilfoyle had been expected to attend Friday night’s July 3rd speech event at Mount Rushmore for the 4th of July holiday weekend. The couple has not been in direct contact with the president, and did not fly on Air Force One. Although Guilfoyle tested positive, she is asymptomatic. Trump Jr., 42, and Guilfoyle, 51, will be driving home rather than getting on a flight, according to a source.
“After testing positive, Kimberly was immediately isolated to limit any exposure. She’s doing well, and will be retested to ensure the diagnosis is correct since she’s asymptomatic, but as a precaution will cancel all upcoming events. Donald Trump Jr was tested negative, but as a precaution is also self isolating and is canceling all public events.”

Guilfoyle serves as the national chair of Trump Victory Finance Committee 2020, the president’s reelection campaign, and is focused specifically on fundraising. Guilfoyle and Trump Jr. often headline fundraising events together.
Critics classified the Mt. Rushmore event as irresponsible regarding the risk of Coronavirus spread, while defenders of the Mt. Rushmore gathering see a double-standard from liberal critics who endorsed protests where crowds were packed in the streets.

Guilfoyle and Trump started dating in 2018, long after she divorced Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom in 2006 and furniture heir Eric Villency in 2009.
In the late 1990s, Guilfoyle worked four years in Los Angeles as a Deputy District Attorney, working on adult and juvenile cases, including narcotics, domestic violence, kidnapping, robbery, arson, sexual assault, and homicide cases.
