Police and firefighter/paramedics from Arlington Heights responded about 5:18 p.m. Friday July 3, 2020 to a report of a rollover crash with entrapment eastbound Euclid Avenue east of Waterman Avenue.

One person was still inside the vehicle when police and firefighter/paramedics arrived and another person was out sitting on the ground. A second ambulance was requested to respond to the scene, and both patients were transported to a nearby hospital.

The single vehicle crash involved a black sedan that rolled over on its side and hit a utility power pole. ComEd was called to the scene for repairs. Initially, no power outages were reported.

Firefighter/paramedics did not have to work with extrication tools to free the person from the crashed vehicle.

Euclid Avenue was blocked in both directions until about 6:20 p.m. There may be additional traffic obstructions while ComEd works at the scene.
