Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Involving a Chevy Tahoe at 1st Ave and 13th St, Near Loyola Medical Center

Cook County Sheriff’s police and Maywood firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:15 PM Saturday December 7, 2019 to a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian that was hit by a vehicle and killed at 1st Avenue and 13th Street in unincorporated Hines in Proviso Township near Maywood, IL. The offending vehicle was described as a tan, possibly 2014, Chevy Tahoe with front-end damage and also missing a headlight.

The driver was described as a male unknown driver.

The vehicle was last seen southbound on 1st Avenue.

Roads are blocked in the area of the scene just east of Loyola University Medical Center, where there is an crash investigation.
