Arlington Heights Firefighters Host First Annual School Supply Drive

Every year, students are provided a list of supplies needed to attend classes. Each year the list of necessary supplies grows, and for many families in our area the requirement creates a financial strain. In hopes of improving this difficult situation for some of our residents, the Arlington Heights Fire Department and IAFF Local 3105 are running our first annual school supply drive to benefit underprivileged students in the Arlington Heights area. The Arlington Heights Firefighters in partnership with local residents are hoping that we can collect supplies to help provide these needy students with the supplies they will need to attend school in the fall of 2019. From June 15th to July 15th Arlington Heights firefighters will have donation boxes located at all four fire stations to collect supplies. Those supplies will be distributed on the first day of school to the students of Timber Ridge School.
