Death Investigation After 2 Reported Unresponsive at Home on North Ridge Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 12:09 PM Tuesday to a check for well-being in the 4200 block of North Ridge Avenue. Police reported that two people were reported down and unresponsive inside a house. Firefighter/paramedics were called to the scene for a medical response and for assistance with forced entry. Police were able to get inside through a window before firefighter/paramedics arrived.

At least one person is reported dead and will be transported to the office of the Cook County Medical Examiner in Chicago.

There is no confirmation whether a second person was also deceased at the two story home, just south of Lake Cook Road. A second ambulance was called to the scene, but the ambulance was returned before reaching the scene.

The home does not appear to be an active crime scene.
