Catalytic Converter Stolen from Same Lexus SUV For the Third Time at Vail Ave Parking Garage, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 7:00 AM Friday of a theft of motor vehicle parts at the Village of Arlington Heights parking garage, 22 South Vail Avenue. An unknown offender or offenders removed the catalytic converter (valued at $2,000) from a white 2005 Lexus RX330. The theft is the third reported theft of the catalytic converter from the same vehicle.

The crime is reported to have occurred between Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. and Friday, October 5, 2012 at 7:00 a.m.
