Bob Frisk is Back … At Least One More Time: Welcome to High School for Grandson Letter

Bob Frisk retired four years ago in 2008. His annual “letter to my grandson” retired with him … until Tuesday, September 4, 2012. Bob Frisk, a tireless advocate of high school sports for 50 years at the Daily Herald, and is an Arlington Cardinal Class of ’54 graduate of Arlington High School.

The sounds football crowds, the clash of the front line, the referee’s whistle, and marching bands must have been missed; because today in the Daily Herald he writes at least one more advice letter to his grandson Mark, as he starts his freshman year in Madison, Wisconsin.
