Arlington Heights police received a report about 11:00 a.m. Saturday of a hit-and-run crash at Mariano’s Fresh Market parking lot, 802 East Northwest Highway. Police received a report that the driver of a red Chrysler Town & Country van hit a victim’s Ford Escape. The driver of the victim’s vehicle witnessed the crash and watched the offending driver walk into Mariano’s and continue shopping. The victim supplied police with the offender’s license plate information. Arlington Heights police are investigating.
