Report that Toddler Fell from 4th Floor Balcony on South New Wilke Rd

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday to a report of a toddler that fell off a fourth floor balcony from a condo/apartment unit in the 1200 block of South New Wilke Road.

Police are investigating. The toddler was in the ambulance, conscious and breathing, at about 10:35 a.m. Tuesday. The toddler was transported to Northwest Community Hospital. Police transported the mother and another child to Northwest Community Hospital.

Police were also checking on a screen from a window that appeared to have fallen from the window opening.
