Not Happy with Your Condiments at McDonald’s? Man Attempts to Impersonate a Health Dept. Employee to Get a Break

Buffalo Grove police received a report about 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 16 of disorderly conduct at the McDonald’s, in the 1200 block of North Arlington Heights Road. A McDonald’s restaurant official reported that a customer requested extra BBQ sauce with his meal and became upset when he was informed that any extra condiment would cost ten cents.

The unhappy customer told the clerk that he was from the Health Department. The offender, described as a balding male subject, told the McDonald’s employee that he would be back and that the McDonald’s employee would not be happy with the health code violations he would find.

McDonald’s provided a license plate number for the disgruntled customer, but vehicle registration came back no record on file. That could mean the license is new and isn’t updated in the license/registration database system.

The Buffalo Grove Health Department has no balding male employees.
