LATE REPORT: Arlington Heights police received a report of a strong armed robbery about 10:00 p.m. Monday. An offender approached a resident entering the apartment building in the 2100 block of South Goebbert Road and asked the victim to open the door. When the victim opened the door, the offender entered and demanded money. The victim dropped their purse and cash. The money was taken and the purse was searched before the offender left. No weapon was implied or shown.
The offender is described as a male/black 15 to 30 years old, approximately 5’05”, very skinny build, wearing black baseball cap or dark-colored cap and dark colored hooded sweatshirt, possibly a gray hoodie, pulled over the cap.
