H1N1 Swine Flu Case at St. James School in Arlington Heights

As of Thursday October 15, 2009 there is one confirmed case of H1N1 Swine Flu at St. James School. A mass telephone alert was broadcast Thursday afternoon by St. James Principal Judy Pappas to inform families that one case of H1N1 Swine Flu was confirmed to have infected a student at St. James. The announcement also stated that St. James is working closely with District 25 and the Cook County Department of Public Health to best respond to the illness. The age and sex of the student was not revealed in the broadcast telephone alert.

The announcement stated that the goal of St. James is to keep school open and functioning normally during the school season. School was already scheduled with a day off for students on Friday October 16, 2009.

St. James school is located at 820 North Arlington Heights Road in Arlington Heights.
